Beverley Hills Pitch-Fest

Imagine being in one, large room with 125 other authors.  Exhilarating, inspiring and humbling.  These are the feelings this author had while attending the Book-to-Movie Pitch Fest in Beverley Hills, California, last weekend.  The oldest author was 84 and the youngest, ten years old.  Tension was high as we waited in line to enter the room with seven tables where Movie and TV producers sat and listened to the two-minute pitch about our stories.  It went well and now we wait two weeks to hear if there are any producers that request our story idea.   November's blog may have more information.  One question this author received was "Which movies are most-like your story?"  The answer given was "Mask" and "Mary Poppins".  Tomorrow this author will be signing books at the local Furgeson's Bookstore at Grand Cities Mall from 11-1.  It would be great if you could stop by.  Happy reading!
