March Reflections

The scent of orange blossoms fill the air as we walk around the community in the evening.  It's a sweet, heady smell and during the day the hummingbirds flock to the orange trees for a drink.  We are eating, juicing, and baking with oranges, lemons, and grapefruit now as all the trees need to be picked clear to keep roof rats away.  We go to our first Chicago Cubs Spring Training game this week.  The hot dogs are $5, but what's a baseball game without hot dogs?  Lots of company coming and going and we enjoy all our overnight visitors.  I'm painting animals this week and found a great picture of "Parker" the poodle as my subject. Check my Art Gallery for the latest.
