Singing with Dad

My dad would have enjoyed the Easy Listening channel on Cable TV today as each selection creates memories of a time gone by. Of course,  as a radio repairman, he probably had the original selections coming to him on radio waves in his repair room at the back of the Crosby Electric Store in Crosby, North Dakota.  It was the "40"s,'50's, and '60's.  He was a Nat King Cole man--The Ink Spots, Frank Sinatra and Benny Goodman.  His rich baritone voice would, no doubt, sing along as he figured out the wiring system or tube needed to make the radios sing again.  I know he'd enjoy the Easy Listening channel because he knew all the words to those song and when he sang them, I learned them, too.  That's how my passion for music developed; those times singing with Dad.
