Wintering in Arizona and Summering in North Dakota pose a new challenge as we begin flying between our destinations. No longer can the portable studio work in a suitcase as baggage fees rise. My solution: prepare two identical watercolor palettes; one for Arizona and the other for North Dakota. My painting will not be interruptedas I travel back and forth. Haven't decided how I will divide my brushes between the two locations. It may mean investing in another "Cat's Tongue" brush or the angular 1" which are two of my favorites. Another consideration are the art pieces I complete in Mesa, Arizona to be displayed and sold at the local Art and Wine Walk in Grand Forks the third Saturdays of each summer month. Thanks to all of you who purchased my work this past summer. It inspires me to continue painting.
