Farmsteads lie naked, exposed after leaves have fallen from the shelter belt trees, ready for winter. We drive sixty miles from Grand Forks to McIntosh, MN to buy good sausage for Paul's Campfire Breakfast. Saute small onion and quarter-pound sausage, peppers, and one can of mushrooms and four beaten eggs. Scramble and serve. Great over campfire. We won't migrate South to Mesa until Paul completes his recovery from surgery for cancer on his tongue. No palm trees until January 2013. Need to find my mojo for painting again. Hope it's soon. |
