What????????? September???????????? Where did August go????? Flowers and gardens are at or past their prime and friends and relatives are sharing their tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and peppers. I harvested some late leaf lettuce, chives, garlic, basil and parsley today. My watercolor palette uses the rich warm hues of Fall as I paint the yellow squash, orange pumpkins, purple eggplant and multicolored peppers. Farmer's Market bustles with traffic for all the fresh vegetables. Even the Iris Man from Pekin has many varieties of multicolored iris rhiodes (roots) to plant now for Spring blooms. There's change in the air and one more Art & Wine Walk to participate in before we head South to Mesa. You will find me at the East Grand Forks Campbell Library Monday, September 12, 2011 signing my book "Spiritsong" for the opening of the River Forks Watercolor Society Art Exhibit "Autumn Colors". Enjoy Fall!
